Dean McArthur combines stone and tile restoration expertise with strategic business management experience. As a principal in Certified Stone Professionals in Buffalo, NY, he has decades of experience in the art of problem solving and restoring natural stone. After obtaining his Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance, he obtained his CPA while working at Freed, Maxick, a top 25 most profitable CPA firm in the nation. Price Waterhouse Coopers recruited him to work in their Buffalo and New York City offices specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Looking to understand the human side of operating a successful business, Dean obtained his PHR (Professional in Human Resources) and his SHRM-SCP (SHRM Senior Certified Professional in Human Resources) while he was the director of recruiting and human resources consulting for a large accounting and business advisory firm. He is currently managing partner of Crimson Strategic Management, Inc., a motivational speaking and consulting firm offering multi-level financial and operational coaching, tax planning, strategic positioning, mergers and acquisitions (including succession planning) and a variety of services to business owners.

Dean is a certified stone and tile inspector and has certifications from Aqua Mix, Laticrete (15-year stain free warranty), FGS Permashine, Werkmaster, Flex-Mar Coatings, IICRC,, Dry-Treat (stain free warranty). He is a member of the AICPA, SHRM, BOMA and the Interior Design Association.

As the primary instructor of “You’re The Boss, Now What?”, Dean teaches students of The Stone and Tile School how to understand financial statements, properly price and cost jobs, analyze and project cash flow and make more money without having to increase sales or employees. In addition to the financial aspects of the company, Dean also helps business owners understand how properly hiring, motivating and managing their employees is the key to reaching their goals personally, professionally and financially.
